What is
the Writing Center? Citation and Documentation Grammar and Punctuation Research and Reference UW Resources Recognizing and Avoiding Plagiarism |
|
|
The UW Writing Center is
part of a national network of writing centers that provide
writing instruction and links to writing resources. Although
individual, face-to-face conferences comprise the backbone of
our work, we also work with small groups and even whole classes
on every aspect of the writing process. Writers come in at any
time in the writing process (brainstorming, development, rough
draft, revisions, etc.) to discuss their work with interested
and experienced writing teachers. Our goal is to suggest writing
and revising strategies writers can apply to more than just one
piece of writing.
