ENGL 1010-25, MWF 2:10-3:00

Department:
English

Office Hours/Location:
427 Hoyt Hall

Research Interests:
I am currently researching intersections between technology and the humanities and the ways in which those intersections, along with assumptions and value systems, influence technical and professional writing programs and the English departments in which they frequently reside.

Beyond this, I’m also researching ways that law enforcement documents are created and the ways in which the public participates in that creation. Specifically, I’m interested in use-of-force policy, which guides the ways in which officers respond to suspects who threaten violence or who have committed violent acts.

Favorite...

Songs: Arcade Fire “Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)”; TV on the Radio “Wolf Like Me”; Bruce Springsteen “My Father’s House”

Interests and hobbies:

I like attending Poke basketball games, men and women. I like reading. I like Nebraska Cornhusker football. Most of all, I like music, especially going to the odd show. And though recent history would suggest otherwise, I like to hike a bit. I like spending time with my family. I like to travel.
