Turn Around Times
Current turn around time for jobs with approximately 100 samples is about 4-6 weeks. For more than 300 samples, please contact Dr. Sharma at
uwyosif@uwyo.edu;
307-766-5021 to get an estimate of the turn around time. For small
batches of samples with 50 or less samples special arrangements can be made for
faster analysis. Other samples, which require labor-intensive methods such as
Hydrogen analysis by Zn reduction, turn around times will vary depending on
number of samples. Longer turn around times are to be expected when analyses
require switching of peripheral devices. This applies to the use of the TC/EA
(refer to the schedule below) and PreCon devices. Please consult with Dr. Sharma before submitting samples for
these types of analyses.

ISOTOPICALLY ENRICHED samples. Special precautions, rates and turnaround times
may apply.
The TC/EA (18O and 2H) and the EA (13C and
15N) are attached to the same Mass Spec., because of this we have
implemented the following schedule for switching over to the TC/EA from the EA. Please take special note of the deadlines for submitting
samples for analysis on the TC/EA.
