Lab Personnel
The University of Wyoming Stable
Isotope Facility is administered by a steering committee of
six faculty members.

Dr.
David G. Williams (home

Director
(307) 766-2494
Professor Williams is a plant physiological ecologist who uses a variety of
approaches to understand how plants interact with their physical and biological
environment, and how plant metabolism scales to the ecosystem level. Dr.
Williams holds faculty appointments in the Departments of Renewable Resources
and Botany and is a member of the Graduate Program in Ecology at the University
of Wyoming.

Dr. Shikha Sharma (home

Associate Director/ Manager
(307) 766-5021
Dr. Sharma is a Stable Isotope Geochemist. Her research focuses on the use of
stable isotopes of C, O and H as natural tracers to understand modern
environmental processes and to interpret past environments. She is also
interested in developing isotopic techniques for novel
applications.
Bill Cable
Research Scientist
(307) 766-5203
Bill has a background in ecology and has worked on several large scale
studies relating to ecosystem water use and carbon dynamics. His true
passion is instrumentation and methodology, making the Stable Isotope Facility a
perfect fit for him.
