Curriculum Vita

Anne is the Director of International Programs at the University of Wyoming.  Here, she helps spearhead and coordinate international cooperation between UW and other institutions around the world, including study abroad and exchanges for our students, Fulbright and NSEP applications, travel grants, internationalizing the curriculum, and other actions that further bilateral relations with our partners.

From 2003-2006, she was Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Department of Economics and Finance in the College of Business.  She has also directed the Health Economics Policy Center at UW, and served as assistant dean of the College of Business.

Outside of academia,  her experience in policy includes working for the  U.S. Department of State in the Bureau of African Affairs as a Diplomacy Fellow, sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science.  As a resources economist, her portfolio included energy development (especially oil) in sub-Saharan Africa, anticorruption and transparency in extractive industries in African countries, and international financial institution programs in sub-Saharan Africa.

Her husband Rob Godby is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Economics and Finance, and they have four lovely dogs.  She is a native of the great State of New Mexico, but has now called Wyoming home for 13 years.
