Tuition & Fees

  • Graduate assistant stipends may be budgeted at current market rates according to discipline

  • Tuition & fees for graduate assistants are charged at the resident tuition rate

  • Budget additional funds for summer stipends, tuition & fees. Summer stipends are typically 3/9's of an AY stipend

  • It is recommended that graduate assistant costs (stipend, tuition, fees, insurance) be escalated 3% for each year of a proposal budget.

  • Tuition, fees and insurance are exempt from indirect cost

Health Insurance

  • Sponsored projects will be charged for health insurance if the graduate assistant elects to enroll and should be included in a proposal budget
