Chapter operations are aided by an array of committees, some of which are standing committees and the rest of which are appointed. Each committee handles a part of the work done by the chapter that is not handled by the offices or is done by multiple members of the chapter. Committee heads are appointed by the president at the beginning of his term or when needed from the active members of the chapter.
