Applying for Admission for Graduate Studies

 

When applying for admission to the M.S. degree program, Division of Kinesiology and Health, you must complete the following items:

 

1.   Application for Admission to Graduate School

(form available on-line at www.uwyo.edu/uwgrad/)

•     Submit to the Graduate School, University of Wyoming

 

2.   Letter of Intent

Please answer the following two questions in your one to two page letter of intent: (1) What area of study are you interested in pursuing (e.g., exercise psychology, exercise physiology, physical education teacher education, etc.)?; and (2) Why are you interested in pursuing the M.S. degree at the University of Wyoming, Division of Kinesiology and Health?

      •     Submit to Dr. Mark Byra (byra@uwyo.edu)

 

3.   Three Letters of Recommendation

      •     Submit to the Division of Kinesiology and Health

            University of Wyoming

            Division of Kinesiology and Health

            Admission to Graduate Studies

            Dept. 3196, 1000 E. University Avenue

            Laramie, WY  82071

 

4.   Official Undergraduate Transcript

      •     Submit official copy to the Graduate School, University of Wyoming

            University of Wyoming

            Graduate School Admissions

            Dept. 3374, 1000 E. University Avenue

            Laramie, WY  82071

      •     Submit unofficial copy to the Division of Kinesiology and Health (see address in #3)

 

5.   Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

      •     Submit to the Graduate School, University of Wyoming

 

6.   Graduate Student Assistantship Form

      If you are interested in applying for a Graduate Student Assistantship, please request the form from Dr. Mark Byra (byra@uwyo.edu) (attached)

      •     Submit to Dr. Mark Byra (byra@uwyo.edu)
