Graduate teaching assistantships are
available in the Division of Kinesiology and Health. Teaching opportunities
exist within the laboratory portions of human anatomy and exercise physiology
courses, first year biology courses, human systems physiology course, the
teaching laboratory portions of the pedagogy practical courses, the health
promotion/education courses, and the lecture and laboratory sections of the
University-wide physical activity courses. Each graduate teaching assistantship
also involves some research opportunities with assigned graduate faculty
advisors. A stipend for a full time graduate teaching assistant is $10,696. In
addition, full time graduate teaching assistants receive full tuition remission.
Graduate teaching assistants are responsible for their technology/activity fees
and health insurance.
