Interests and Hobbies:

My favorite thing is to spend time with my husband and my baby daughter.  Second favorite: reading, especially fiction, creative non-fiction, history, biography.  I also love taking walks with my daughter--and I love our family cat, Scrappy.

Research Interests:
Right now I'm in the process of writing a book-length work on disability narratives as an activist genre. I'm also interested in the rhetoric of the early women's rights movement as well as issues of difference and inequality in the academy.
