Research Interests:
Renaissance Studies, including Elizabeth I, Shakespeare, Shakespeare in film, Spenser, Mary Queen of Scots, and early modern women. Special interest in postmodernist theory as it applies to feminist historicism; in material culture, especially early modern needlework, textiles, and portraiture; and in intersections of verbal and visual textualities.
