Limitations
-
Body weight and well-being:
Information reflects a traditional weight-centered
(rather than a health-centered) approach.
For example, encourages weight loss in several places, relies on BMI
more as a diagnostic (rather than a screening) tool to be considered with
other health indicators, encourages food substitutions to address cravings
rather than trying to identify the source of the craving and acknowledging
that satisfying a craving with the food can be constructive, etc.
