Vendors and Exhibitors
The Martes Working Group invites commercial and non-profit exhibitors to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to market your latest products, services, technology, equipment, artwork, and literature to scientists, researchers, educators, administrators, policymakers, and wildlife lovers from countries around the world.
The registration fee includes two, 5-foot skirted tables (additional tables are available), 2 chairs, and access to electrical outlets and lighting. The high-visibility exhibit location shares space with the poster sessions, and will be locked to provide after-hours security. The fee also includes lunch on each of the 3 conference days, complimentary WiFi access, and discounted admission for one to the Symposium. Exhibitors will be listed in our printed Symposium Program and on our website.
Space Rental Fees (US Dollars)
- Commercial Vendor: $200.00 ($250.00 after July 1, 2009)
- Commercial Vendor extra table: $100.00
- Non-profit Exhibitor: $150.00 ($187.50 after July 1, 2009)
- Non-profit Exhibitor extra table: $75.00
- Exhibitor Admission to Symposium: $100.00
There are three other opportunities for firms, organizations, and agencies to increase name recognition and enhance visibility:
- Sponsorship. Any amount of $200 or more will be acknowledged in our Symposium Program and on our website. Sponsorship funds will be used to subsidize students or international attendees who wish to present a technical talk but who might not be able to participate otherwise.
- Donations of goods or services to our raffle. Donors will be acknowledged verbally several times during the Symposium, at the raffle, and in our Symposium Program.
- Print advertising. You are invited to advertise in our Symposium Program, which is distributed to all meeting attendees. (Orders and copy for advertising must be received by July 1, 2009).

- Half-page vertical (3-3/8” W x 9-1/2” H, B/W): $250.00
- Quarter-page (3-3/8” W x 4-1/4” H, B/W): $150.00
- Eighth-page (3-1/2” W x 2” H, B/W): $ 75.00

- 2009 Martes Working Group Membership: $30.00 per person
- Burke Museum Welcome Reception, Sept. 8: $30.00 per person
- Banquet, Sept. 11: $55.00 per person
- Field Trip to Olympic Peninsula, Sept. 12: $55.00 per person
Reach your target audience in the scientific community! Registration for exhibit space can be completed online via the University of Washington Conference Services website. To pay using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express, follow these steps:
1. All vendors must read and agree to the information on the first registration page, whether you are requesting lodging or not. If you’d like to reserve on-campus lodging you will have the opportunity to do so on the next page.
2. Complete the billing information on page 2. Reserve your room here if interested.
3. Check the appropriate Vendor Registration and Options box(es) on the lower half of page 3. To attend the technical sessions at the reduced vendor rate, check the Vendor Admission box. If you’d like to attend the Burke Museum Welcome Reception, the banquet, and/or the Olympic Peninsula field trip, or become a Martes Working Group member, check the corresponding box(es) on the upper half of page 3.
4. On page 4, verify your billing information and charges, then click Make a Payment. Continue to the Payment Gateway, enter your credit card information, and complete the transaction. Print a copy of the confirmation page for your records.
To pay by check, follow these steps:
1. Send an e-mail to Ryan C. Jones at the University of Washington Conference Services at rycjones@hfs.washington.edu, stating that you wish to register as a vendor (please refer to the fee schedule above for your rate). Also state whether you'd like to attend the technical sessions at the reduced vendor rate, the Burke Museum Welcome Reception, the banquet, and/or the Olympic Peninsula field trip, or become a Martes Working Group member. You will receive a reply acknowledging your vendor space registration, which will be confirmed when your check is received.
2. Download the registration form
here, then fill out the
Registration Information section only, on the top part of the form, and sign the
bottom.
3. Add up your fees, then mail the registration form, along with your check (payable to University of Washington) to the address on the back of the registration form.
