Invitation and call for abstracts
You are invited to participate in the scientific program. The official language of the symposium is English. Proposed abstracts for contributed oral and poster presentations are due no later than 29 May 2009. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed for acceptance by the Symposium Scientific Committee, and revisions may be necessary prior to acceptance. We will notify you of the Scientific Committee's decision no later than 26 June 2009.
Although many of the presentations will be given by individuals who have been invited by the Scientific Committee to present a review or synthesis on a particular topic and to write a paper for publication in the Symposium book, we plan to provide ample opportunities for contributed presentations. When the Scientific Committee finalizes the list of invited presentations and reviews contributed abstracts, we will seek appropriate opportunities to invite the authors of contributed papers to write up their presentation for publication in the Symposium book. For contributed presentations that are selected for publication in the book, draft manuscripts would not be due until 6 months after the Symposium.
