Banquet Committee
Is to put on a banquet for the Social Work Division. This banquet is to wish the graduating seniors good luck and farewell. It is also the time when the officers for ASSW and Phi Alpha are inducted.
Speaker Committee
Is to invite someone to lecture to the community about a topic somehow related to Social Work or helping professions.
Activities Committee
Is to organize at least 2 Social Activities per semester for the ASSW and Social Work Division. For the purpose of stress relief, having fun, and promoting wellbeing of the students and faculty of the Social Work Division and to promote Social Work within the community.
Membership and Nominating Committee
Is to promote membership in the ASSW and recruit new members. At the beginning of the Spring Semester it is also to start gathering names of voting members that wish to run for office for the next year.
