Global Business Club
Interested in international business?  Join us!

The Global Business Club was organized to give students an opportunity to help foster a better understanding of the global economy and society and to visit global businesses.  The group holds biweekly meetings with guest speakers who can address various aspects of global business.  We may plan field trips if students are interested.

Another function of this organization is to help coordinate the Global Business Issues class study tour trip.  When offered, this class meets on campus, usually during summer session, then takes a trip to a foreign country to visit businesses there.  A subgroup of the Global Business Club works on fund raising and/or help with planning of the trip.  For example, in previous years, the group sold College of Business T-shirts and engaged in other fund raising projects to help defray the costs of overseas trips to France in summers1998 and 1999 and Norway in summer 2000.  Students also traveled to China in summer 2007.
