Nearly one in three students attending UW is a
non-traditional student. These students make up a diverse group with a
variety of life experiences, backgrounds, skills, responsibilities and
needs.
You are a non-traditional student if you are:
• 25+ years old
• Working on a Masters or Doctoral degree
• Married
• A parent
• Responsible for dependents
• A ward/dependent of the court
• A US Armed Forces Veteran
• A child of deceased parents

Mission Statement
NTSC
is an organization of students who advocate by identifying concerns,
increasing awareness, and providing a collective voice for the
non-traditional student community of the University of Wyoming.
NTSC
is a volunteer student organization that works to insure non-traditional
students achieve success at the University of Wyoming.
NTSC encourages all non-traditional students to participate on
the council. There are a wide range of leadership opportunities
available including acting as officers, committee members, interest
group administrators, and volunteers. We also welcome comments and ideas
from all students that will help shape the direction and priorities of
the council.
NTSC
works with ASUW, Adult Student Center, and other campus organizations to
offer services that help students balance the responsibilities of work,
home, community and higher education.
NTSC
co-sponsors social
events, recreational activities, charitable service, and educational
seminars to help build the campus community.
