LEARN??
LeaRN stands for "Learning Resource Networks/Partnerships for Academic Success"
LeaRN works with departments, individual faculty, student affairs, staff, student groups, and individual students on various issues related to teaching and learning in lower division courses.
LeaRN is your Road to Success, and this is how we do it:
LeaRN has 4 jobs
Learning Communities
LeaRN is responsible for developing and coordinating the 1st year learning communities, including Synergy program and FIGs (Freshman Interest Groups)
Academic Assistance
LeaRN provides a centralized location for tutoring, supplemental, and academic tips & guides
Core Curriculum Development
LeaRN continuously works to improve declared and undeclared students' first year experience by enhancing general education courses and focusing on learning communities. 
Teaching Resources for First and Second Year Instructors
LeaRN provides Brown Bag workshops on the first year experience and issues in student academic life. 
Our new LeaRNing Notes is a series of brief guides to help instructors better understand first and second year students.
