At the conclusion of the fall semester juries, each area will pick students to perform 10 minutes of  music for the Honors Convocations that will be held during the early part of the spring semester.

  • Composition.  Students in composition will be selected at the Composition recital at the end of the fall semester.  Students will be encouraged to participate in the Honors Convocation if selected, but because of the nature of the performance (rehearsals, other musicians needed), it may not be possible.  Composition students selected will receive recognition at the Chair’s Honor Convocation, whether they perform or not.
